Argentina advances to Copa America quarterfinals

Sergio Aguero scored in first-half stoppage time, and again in the 52nd minute following a pass from Barcelona star Lionel Messi, and Argentina beat Costa Rica 3-0 on Monday to earn a spot in the Copa America quarterfinals.

Argentina joined Chile, Venezuela and Peru in the quarterfinals, after those teams booked their places on Sunday.
