Alvaro Negredo on Liverpool radar as Reds weigh up £17m bid for Spain striker

Liverpool are considering a bid for Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo, according to reports in Spain. 

The AS newspaper claim that the Reds are prepared to offer around £17million for the 25-year-old forward. 

A strong, quick attacker with a superb left foot, Negredo has six goals for the season.

He made his Spain debut in October 2009 but was left out of the squad for the World Cup in South Africa last summer.
